Horizontal water hammer tank
Bladder vessel — 750 L to 40,000 L — 10/16/25 bar (large capacities: engineered on request)
Horizontal hydropneumatic vessel, an alternative to the vertical version where available headroom under civil engineering constraints is limited. Same water-hammer protection principle: the bladder absorbs the pressure surge and protects pipelines, fittings and valves. Complete range from 750 L to 40,000 L, clear water.
| Connection | Flanged (DN50 — DN150 up to 2,000 L) |
|---|---|
| Volume | 750 L — 40,000 L |
| Pressure | 10/16/25 bar documented — large capacities engineered on request |
| Orientation | Horizontal |
| Bladder | Interchangeable rubber |
- Reduced height footprint — suited to pit installations or low-clearance technical rooms
- Flanged process connection across the whole range — no threaded version on the main inlet/outlet
- Interchangeable bladder on small/medium capacities
- Large capacities (> 2,000 L) engineered case by case, on request
- Slotted flange holes for installation tolerance
Range: 750 L — 40,000 L — Pressure: 10/16/25 bar documented, above that engineered on request — Connection: flanged

| Component | Material |
|---|---|
| Body | Carbon steel, anti-corrosion coating |
| Bladder | Interchangeable rubber, clear-water grade |
| Flange bolting | Zinc-plated steel / stainless option |
Epoxy coating — body
250 μm — Two-component epoxy paint applied by electrostatic powder coating after SA 2.5 blasting. Minimum thickness 250 μm inside and outside.
Disc — protection
≥ 200 μm — GGG40 ductile iron with epoxy coating, or AISI 316 stainless steel disc as an option depending on the application.
Shaft — AISI 420 stainless
AISI 420 — Martensitic stainless steel shaft providing optimal resistance to corrosion and mechanical wear over time.
Bolting
A2-70 / A4-80 stainless — Zinc-plated dichromated steel as standard. Available in A2-70 / A4-80 stainless steel for aggressive environments.
Reference standards: the epoxy coating complies with EN 14901 (internal coatings of valves for drinking water) and GSK. Surface preparation is carried out by blasting to ISO 8501-1 grade SA 2.5 before coating.
