Vertical bladderless water hammer tank
Vertical compressor-based vessel, no bladder or membrane — 2,000 L to 35,000 L — 6 to 30 bar
Vertical water hammer tank operating without a bladder or membrane: the air cushion is replenished by a compressor controlled by water level, rather than by a replaceable elastomer element. This design removes the most heavily stressed wear part found in bladder tanks, and particularly suits large capacities and operators looking to minimise maintenance on internal components.
| Connection | Flanged (DN250 — DN700 depending on capacity) |
|---|---|
| Volume | 2,000 L — 35,000 L |
| Pressure | 6 to 30 bar depending on model |
| Orientation | Vertical |
| Regulation | Water-level-controlled compressor |
| Manhole | DN400 (2,000—15,000 L) / DN500 (18,000—35,000 L) |
- No bladder/membrane to replace — no elastomer wear
- Air cushion automatically replenished by a level-controlled compressor
- Flanged process connection, DN increasing with capacity (DN250 to DN700)
- Manhole for inspection and internal maintenance
- Suited to large capacities (up to 35,000 L) and networks requiring high availability

Epoxy coating — body
250 μm — Two-component epoxy paint applied by electrostatic powder coating after SA 2.5 blasting. Minimum thickness 250 μm inside and outside.
Disc — protection
≥ 200 μm — GGG40 ductile iron with epoxy coating, or AISI 316 stainless steel disc as an option depending on the application.
Shaft — AISI 420 stainless
AISI 420 — Martensitic stainless steel shaft providing optimal resistance to corrosion and mechanical wear over time.
Bolting
A2-70 / A4-80 stainless — Zinc-plated dichromated steel as standard. Available in A2-70 / A4-80 stainless steel for aggressive environments.
Reference standards: the epoxy coating complies with EN 14901 (internal coatings of valves for drinking water) and GSK. Surface preparation is carried out by blasting to ISO 8501-1 grade SA 2.5 before coating.
